The O'Loughlin Law Firm works entirely in the areas of Estate Planning, and Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution. We feel this level of commitment and focus is necessary in order to properly serve our Estate Planning clients. Over the years, our firm has had the privilege of preparing estate plans for over a thousand clients. While many of our clients are referred to us by their family and friends, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Hospice organizations often refer their patients to us due to our commitment to providing "Urgent, Compassionate, Estate Planning Services, Without Compromise in Quality."

As a result, it is strongly recommended that you work with an attorney who focuses his or her law practice on your particular area of need. Attorney Michael J. O'Loughlin works entirely in the areas of Estate Planning and Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution. He has served as an Estate Planning Consultant to Attorneys, Accountants, and Financial Planners. Mr. O’Loughlin believes in the importance of proper Estate Planning, not only for his clients and their peace of mind, but for the security and well-being of their families as well.

Mr. O’Loughlin prides himself on his ability to be a good listener, and to take the time necessary to understand the needs and desires of each individual client. He feels this level of dedication is necessary in developing an estate plan that is best suited to each client's unique situation.

Mr. O'Loughlin is a frequent lecturer on Living Trusts and related Estate Planning topics. His presentations are said to be "instructive, enjoyable, and easy to understand."

Mr. O’Loughlin is a year 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, School of Law, which is ranked in the top third of all law schools in the United States. While attending law school, he was the Associate Editor of The Gavel, and was a recipient of the Nelson Award, given to the top student in the Wills and Trusts Drafting class. Mr. O’Loughlin received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Brigham Young University in 1997. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Utah. In 2001 he was elected President of the Randolph County Bar Association, and has served on the Planned Gifts Committee for the Randolph County YMCA. Mr. O'Loughlin is a third generation Lawyer, with a father and a brother also currently practicing law.

Recent clients include a retired Law School Professor and a retired Judge.

Mr. O'Loughlin is active in his Church and Community. As a youth he earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and he continues to be a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. O’Loughlin has been married to his wife Teresa for 21 years, and they have been blessed with 5 children.
